La transhumance est une pratique ancestrale qui consiste a emmener les troupeaux passer l’été en montagne pour soulager les exploitations agricoles.

Ces zones de prairies et les périodes de transhumance sont aussi appelées « estives ».Les animaux profitent alors d’herbages de qualité supérieure.

Notre troupeau transhume en altitude de juin à fin septembre.

Durand votre séjour Frédéric se fera un plaisir de vous y accompagner pour découvrir les paysages de montagne, observer de près les animaux et comprendre le travail des éleveurs.
